Location. On a quiet street in the central business district of New Orleans, La., the four-story St. James Hotel sits two blocks from the historic French Quarter and the trendy shops along the Riverwalk. Harrah's New Orleans Casino & Hotel is three blocks away. The Ernest N. Morial Convention Center is six blocks away.

Hotel Features. Complete with patio tables and potted plants in a charming courtyards, the St. James Hotel is home to the celebrated French bistro Cuvee, which serves nouveau New Orleans cuisine, from jumbo lump-crab cake and shrimp remoulade to rabbit confit and seafood bouillabaisse. A small pool graces the courtyard. Wireless Internet access is offered thorughtout the hotel.

Guestrooms. The 86 guestrooms feature elegant "British West Indies-style" accentuated by two-post beds with 300-thread count linens, rich tapestries and antique-style teakwood furniture.
